Based on the true story of Marie Colvin, this electrifying drama stars Rosamund Pike as a passionate war correspondent whose career took her to battlegrounds around the world. She defied death—and, increasingly, life.

Colvin is constantly walking the line between bravery and recklessness as she plunges headlong into conflicts on a mission to give voice to the voiceless. After being hit by a grenade in Sri Lanka, she wears an eye patch, yet remains as comfortable sipping martinis with London’s elite as she is confronting dictators.

What she’s not so comfortable with is home routine. Twice-divorced and in denial about the increasing psychological toll her job is taking, Colvin finds more solid ground in actual mindfields than in the metaphorical ones of personal relationships. So when the opportunity to embark on her most dangerous assignment yet presents itself, she heads to the besieged Syrian city of Homs without hesitation. Jamie Dornan, Tom Hollander, and Stanley Tucci co-star in director Matthew Heineman’s pulse-pounding biopic.
