Overview

At the age of 18, Ritchie (convincingly played by Tye Sheridan) ages out of his group home in central Texas ill-prepared to fend for himself. Renting a squalid apartment and working nights in a construction yard, he soon falls in with the equally troubled Swim (Caleb Landry Jones), and their wild misadventures inevitably attract the attention of law enforcement (Jeffrey Wright).

On a brighter note, Ritchie has also attracted the attention of rich girl Joan (Imogen Poots). But can anything, including love, blossom in these bleak circumstances? Writer/director A.J. Edwards explores that question unflinchingly in this gritty coming-of-age drama.

Producer Christian Sosa will be in attendance for all screenings.
