Join us for a special screening of “Turn It Around: The Story of East Bay Punk,” an exploration of the development of punk rock in Northern California in the 70s, 80s, and 90s. The film will be followed by a panel discussion/Q&A featuring a rare appearance by Aaron Cometbus. Cometbus is a fanzine publisher since 1981 and the only roadie to earn a gold record using his teeth as a musical instrument. He will be joined by Anna Brown, an educator, author, surfer, and the troubled conscience of East Bay Punk. The discussion will be moderated by Scott Kaplan, co-founder of Ratio Beerworks, Zinester/Musician on perpetual hiatus, and aspiring moderator.
