Overview

Prolific filmmaker Nathan Silver (Stinking Heaven, DFF38; Actor Martinez, DFF39) returns to Denver once again with this unsettling homage to the erotic dramas of 1970s Europe that examines the delirious extremes we go to in the name of love.

Alone and depressed after the suicide of her lover, American flight attendant Gina (Lindsay Burdge, Actor Martinez) spends a layover in Paris hooking up with nightclub bartender Jerome (Damien Bonnard of Staying Vertical, DFF39). But what begins as a harmless rendezvous soon takes a dark turn, as Gina's feelings deepen into unrequited amour fou and she decides to stay in France. When Jerome's ex Clémence reenters the picture, Gina begins to spiral downward into masochistic madness.
