WINNER! Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture - Allison Janney

Director Craig Gillespie (Lars and the Real Girl) paints an unexpectedly layered portrait of competitive ice skater–turned–tabloid villain Tonya Harding in this outrageous, tragicomic biopic built around one of the most ridiculous scandals in the history of American sports.

Margot Robbie has been raking in the kudos for her performance as the scrappy athlete who considered herself handicapped by her blue-collar status in the world of a genteel sport—and who went about attempting to level the playing field by handicapping her chief rival in turn, literally. Allison Janney has also earned acclaim for her performance as Harding’s hard-nosed mother—compared to whom Jeff Gillooly (Sebastian Stan) looked like a knight in shining armor to the young skater in all her confused determination to be somebody.

Cast: Margot Robbie, Sebastian Stan, Allison Janney, Mckenna Grace, Bobby Cannavale, Julianne Nicholson
